Frequently Asked Questions

Before you register

Can my partner or a grandparent attend virtually?

Yes. Virtual registration is priced per household, so a partner, grandparent, or regular caregiver may attend with the registrant.

Does Emergency Readiness provide CPR certification?

No. It is parent education. CPR certification requires the separate four-hour in-person class.

Can I purchase a Red Cross certificate without taking the class?

No. The certificate is issued only after successful completion of the required course and hands-on skill components.

Are these classes medical advice?

No. Elevate Baby Ready provides general education. Individual medical questions should be directed to the baby’s healthcare professional.

Build confidence before the moments that matter.

Choose one focused workshop or complete the full virtual series. North Carolina families may also add a separately scheduled in-person Red Cross certification class.

Elevate Baby Ready classes provide general education and do not replace individualized medical advice, treatment, or emergency services. Elevate certificates are certificates of participation. American Red Cross certification requires successful completion of the separate in-person course and applicable skill requirements.
