This CPR & First Aid training follows the current American Red Cross CPR/First Aid guidelines and equips participants with the skills needed to respond confidently to emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. This course is ideal for childcare settings and meets common CPR/First Aid requirements for licensed programs, early educators, and workplace safety standards.
Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies, perform CPR on adults, children, and infants, use an AED, and provide basic first aid for injuries, illness, and environmental emergencies. Hands-on skills practice is required and included as part of the in-person session.
Childcare teachers, assistant teachers, family childcare providers, school staff, parents, and anyone needing to obtain or renew their CPR & First Aid certification.
A Certificate of Completion will be provided upon successful participation in the full in-person class session. Certification is typically valid for 2 years, consistent with American Red Cross CPR & First Aid standards.
