This ITS-SIDS (Infant/Toddler Safe Sleep and SIDS Risk Reduction) training is required by the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) for all staff who work with infants in licensed childcare programs.
Participants will learn current safe sleep practices, risk-reduction strategies, and how to create a safe sleep environment that meets state licensing standards. The session includes updated guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics and satisfies DCDEE’s annual training requirement for infant care providers.
Perfect For:
Infant teachers, family childcare providers, and administrators needing to obtain or renew their ITS-SIDS certification.
Certification:
A Certificate of Completion will be provided upon successful participation.
